1. The short version

This website uses strictly necessary cookies only. There is no analytics, no advertising and no cross-site tracking on it, so there is nothing here to opt out of and no consent banner to dismiss. If that changes we will update this page and ask for your consent first.

2. What cookies are

A cookie is a small file a website stores on your device. It can be read back on a later page or visit. Related technologies such as local storage work the same way for the purposes of this policy.

3. What this site sets

  • Anti-forgery token. Set by the web framework to protect form submissions against cross-site request forgery. It contains no information about you and expires when you close the browser.
  • Connection state. The pages here are interactive, and the browser keeps a live connection to our server so the rate calculator can update. This uses a temporary identifier for your session that is discarded when you leave.

Both are strictly necessary: the site cannot work correctly without them, so under most privacy laws they do not require consent.

4. What this site does not set

  • No analytics or measurement cookies.
  • No advertising, retargeting or social media cookies.
  • No cross-site tracking, and no profiles built from your browsing.

5. Third parties that see your request

Two resources on this site are loaded from other providers, which means those providers receive your IP address and basic browser information when a page loads. Neither sets a cookie on this site:

  • Google Fonts – supplies the typefaces used across the site.
  • A content delivery network – supplies the country flag images shown beside currencies.

Signing in to a Zeltz account takes you to a separate application with its own cookies, described in the policy shown there.

6. Managing cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Because the cookies used here are strictly necessary, blocking them will stop parts of this site working, including the live rate calculator.

7. Changes
